Blind Date with a Book (9)

Hey everyone! I decided to start a new feature, inspired by a giveaway from The YA Bookcase! They did a giveaway where they gave you three words describing a book and you had to decide whether you think you’d read it or not, a blind date sort of thing. Well, that was such a cool idea I thought it’d be fun to do a weekly feature similar to that!

How this works:
I’ll list three or four descriptions of a book without showing a picture, revealing an author, or the title of the book and you have to decide that based on how I describe it, whether or not you’d read the book. All you’ll have to do is answer yes or no! Then the next week I’ll reveal the book I described and you can decide, depending on your answer, whether it was a good call or not! The next week I’ll also be describing another book and we’ll just be repeating the same process. Simple right?
Now here we go!

First it’s time to reveal last week’s book. It was said to be heart-wrenching, captivating, and discovering hope. That book is...

15726915
Faking Normal by Courtney C. Stevens! (I died reading this)

Alexi Littrell hasn't told anyone what happened to her over the summer. Ashamed and embarrassed, she hides in her closet and compulsively scratches the back of her neck, trying to make the outside hurt more than the inside does.

When Bodee Lennox, the quiet and awkward boy next door, comes to live with the Littrells, Alexi discovers an unlikely friend in "the Kool-Aid Kid," who has secrets of his own. As they lean on each other for support, Alexi gives him the strength to deal with his past, and Bodee helps her find the courage to finally face the truth.

So what do you guys think of last week's book? Like it, don't like it, not sure?

Now let's move on to this week!

Angels. Demons. Catastrophe.

What do you guys think? You might be able to guess what book it is if you think hard enough. Would you guys read this? No? Maybe? You have no idea? Well answer in the box below!
