A Love for Books Day 7: Author Feature: Jessica L, Brooks

Hey everyone! Welcome to day 7 of A Love for Books blog event here! I hope everyone has enjoyed the features we've had so far! I know I've loved them! Today I have the lovely Jessica L. Brooks, author of Pity Isn't an Option and If I Speak True. I actually had the pleasure of meeting her when looking for people that were willing to take part in this event and I'm so happy about that! She's so awesome and amazing to talk to. Plus, her book If I Speak True sounds really amazing. I hope to read it sometime soon, once I tackle more of my TBR pile! Now today she's going to be talking about her YA romances. Hi, Kayla! Thanks for having me here! J I know the initial plan was for me to share my most favorite YA romances, but as I narrowed down my choices, I realized the relationships I love most aren’t always in an obvious “romantic relationship” per se. So, I decided to share some of my favorite relationships, complete with quotes to go with them. (Yay!) Here they are, in no particular order:

These are great choices! Some I've heard of, one or two I've actually read (Mary and Travis make me freaking cry just thinking about them), and the rest I've never heard of. But those are all great and I love the passages you chose! They're so cute, sweet, and swoony! And if just one scene can prove these couples rock, just imagine what an entire book would do!
